1.  Video from the not-for-profit Freshwater Institute explaining land-based recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). The Freshwater Institute in West Virginia is the world's leading research facility for RAS and their technical expertise is being made available to the 'Namgis Closed Containment Project through Tides Canada.

3.  Coming soon! Video by Dr. S. Wright from January 2011, showing Atlantic salmon growing in freshwater land-based closed-containment systems at the Conservation Fund Freshwater Institute (TCFFI) in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Fish are being grown out to 5.5 kg. Density is 80 kg/m3 and no antibiotics, pesticides, or vaccines have been used. Note good tank behavioural dynamics and little fin erosion.
